Our impact
Heal is committed to becoming the UK's first national rewilding landowner. By rewilding land across England, our work will deliver three major benefits to society:
Degraded
Land that, initially, hosts a poor diversity and abundance of wild animals and plants
Spacious
Land 500+ acres in size to provide space for roaming cattle, pigs, ponies and deer
Buildings
Land with buildings that can be converted to create spaces for public engagement
Accessible
Land that is within one hour's travel from nearby large urban areas by public transport

Before acquiring a site, we work to find the money needed to buy it
Search
Once we've found the funding, the search for that site can begin

After that's sorted, it's time to commit and acquire the site

Next, we conduct baseline surveys to find out what's there

Then the magical process of recovery begins, led by nature
